He is survived by: his parents, Carol Spear (Lollar) of Thorntown and Mike Spear; his son Troy Spear of Thorntown; his close friend Barbara Osborne of Thorntown; his daughter Kristen Leffler of Muncie; his brother David Leon Spear (Ursula) of Kentucky; his grandmother Ruth Spear of Lebanon; his niece Lisa Spear of Kentucky; his nephew Chris Spear (Chelsey) of Florida; and his great-nephew Oliver Spear of Florida. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins.
