She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Bowen and Evelyn Bowen (Joseph). She is survived by: her husband John Gillan; her children, Doug Merrill of Thorntown, Jodie Merrill (Mary Helen Atkins) of Denton, NC, Kristine Barnes (Don) of Thorntown, Patrick Gillan of Crawfordsville and Matthew Gillan of Crawfordsville; her grandchildren, J. R. Merrill (Lyndsay), Miriah Merrill, Houston Phillips (Emily), Hannah Phillips, Hunter Phillips, Jake Barnes, Emily Hollums (Josh) and Courtney Barnes; her great grandchildren, Gryson Louks, Addalynn Louks, Ryker Louks and Brooks Hollums; her brothers, Jim Bowen of Thorntown and Terry Bowen of Pennsylvania; her nieces, Teresa Burtner (Robert), Kim Lough (Kevin) and Roberta Caldwell (Tim); and her nephew Bob Bowen (Anita).
