It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kathryn J Martin of Thorntown, Indiana, born in Florence, Alabama, who passed away on March 26, 2021, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Homer Smothermon and Agnes Nadine Smothermon (Richardson); her sons, Anthony Wayne "Tony" Martin and Ricky Keith Martin; her siblings, William Thomas "Butch" Smothermon and Louise Davis; and her brother-in-law John Cook.
She is survived by: her husband Donald Martin; her sons, Brian Wesley Martin (Heather Minard) of Thorntown, Gregory Allen Martin of Lebanon and Robbie Joe Martin of Indianapolis; her siblings, John Wesley "Johnny" Smothermon (Mary Ann) of Waverly, TN and Della Smothermon Cook of Florence, AL; her daughter-in-law Darla Wright of Colfax; and her grandchildren, Tanya Lynn McClain (Jason) of Frankfort, Gregory Michael Martin, Shelly Darlene Brose (AJ) of Lebanon, Ashley Nicole of Greenfield, Brandy Taylor of Avon, Alexis Vail Walker of Duluth, MN, Kandis Martin of Plainfield and Wesley Keith Martin of Indianapolis. She is also survived by eleven great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
