He was predeceased by: his parents, Jim Bowen and Mabel Bowen (Snyder); his sister Wilma Barton; and his grandchildren, Lily Ann and Mason Daniel Wuebker.
He is survived by: his spouse Beverly Bowen (Schlick); his children, Tammy Spidel (Mike), Jana Dittemore and Wendi Johnson (Dewayne); and his grandchildren, Jeff Spidel (Courtney), Kyle Spidel (Dani), Carlee Dittemore, Dillon, Jacob, Katie, Shelby Craven, Savanah Johnson, Nicholas (Sarah), Nathaniel Bromund (Kara), Adam Wuebker (Cheyenne), Corban, Dylan Wuebker and Lucas Baker. He is also survived by Four Great Grandchildren, a niece and two nephews.
Memorials may be directed in his memory to Lighthouse Baptist Church.
