He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Mak and Charmaine Mak (Hockney); and his son Joshua. He is survived by: his former wife Rebecca 'Becky Gilbert; his wife Becky; his children, Jon Ball (Angela), Michael White, Ashley Miller (Eric) and Dale Simpson; and his siblings, Karen Klienman and Randy Mak (Renata). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
