He was predeceased by: his parents, William Hamilton and Thelma May Dean Hamilton; his wife Clella Norton Hamilton; and his siblings, Donald Lee Hamilton, Thelma Pauline Lemmons (Rene Sherman) and Betty Kneller (Charles).
He is survived by: his son Wayne Jr.; his daughter-in-law Bobbi Hamilton of Terre Haute; and his brother William E. Hamilton (Joan) of Terre Haute. He is also survived by 2 granddaughters and their spouses; 3 great-grandchildren.
