With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Vivian Frances Niemeyer of Terre Haute, Indiana, born in Mattoon, Illinois, who passed away on August 29, 2024 at the age of 100. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Fleshner and Lela Graham Fleshner; her sister Ona Stuart; and her brothers-in-law, Fred, Tom, Phillip and Wayne Niemeyer (late William A. Niemeyer).
She is survived by: her son James S. Niemeyer of Terre Haute; her grandson Jeffrey S. Niemeyer (Amy); her great grandchildren, Carinne Terry (Israel) and Isaac Niemeyer; her great great grandchildren, Amari, Aliyah and Dr. Joseph Ryan (Barbara); and her caregivers, Melissa, Bri, Mikenzi and Mandi. She is also survived by other nieces and nephews.
The family suggests that contributions may be made to St. Benedicts Soup Kitchen.
