He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Edward Pfister and Marie Jeanne Eierman Pfister; and his brother Victor Pfister. He is survived by: his siblings, Josephine Newport, Charles Henry "Hank" Pfister, Edward Pfister, William Pfister, George Pfister, Katy Gyurek and Fran Deren. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
