With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Verlin Bennett of Terre Haute, Indiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 18, 2025 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the quiet moments of reflection, amidst the gentle rustle of leaves and the whispered song of the stars, we shall carry Verlin's memory with us, a guiding light illuminating the path ahead. May Verlin's journey be filled with peace and serenity, as his find rest in the embrace of eternity.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd Edward and Marthella Bennett (Peters). He is survived by: his wife Greta Bennett (Wade); his sons, Steve Bennett, Danny Bennett (Tricia), John Bennett (Amy), Craig Bennett (Tiffany) and Kevin Bennett; and his sister Shirley Richards. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 9th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Greiner Funeral Home (2005 N 13th St, Terre Haute, IN 47804). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, May 9th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
