It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shashikant S. Patel of Terre Haute, Indiana, who passed away on February 5, 2024, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Shankerlal Patel and Parsanben Patel; and his siblings, Kamlaben, Manubhai and Bhanuben.

He is survived by: his wife Mradula Patel; his children, Neesha FitzGibbon (Thomas) and Neil Patel; his granddaughter Sonia FitzGibbon; and his brothers, Kantibhai (Vasanti) and Hasmukh (Kamini). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
