He was predeceased by: his parents, James Winston Dean of Scottsburg Indiana and Norma Renee Eads of Lexington Ky; his grandfather Franklin D. Dean; and his aunt Fonda F. Dean. He is survived by: his son James W. Dean of Lexington Ky; his siblings, Leslie Hernandez Larios and Jayden Kinnard; his grandmother Zella M. Reardon; his uncle Timothy Dean; and his cousins, Caitlin Dean Pedigo and Casey Dean.
