He was predeceased by: his parents, Archie Brown and Mary Lou Gaskins Brown; and his wife Joan Hartman Brown. He is survived by: his children, Robert J. Brown (Lori), Kenneth R. Brown (Gretchen) and Angela K. Ford; his sister Mona Bennett; his grandchildren, Brandi Kelch (Michael), Kaitlin Brown (Tanner Ridge), Levi Brown (Torrey), Shane McCarthy and Alexis Ford; and his sisters-in-law, Diana Kyle (Ron) and Gloria Shoemaker. He is also survived by four great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Bob's name to Maryland Community Church, Wabash Valley Community Foundation - Joan M. Brown Memorial Fund, or Camp Navigate.
