He is survived by: his mother Alice Hammons (Gibson); his wife Tammy Hammons (Ortiz); his children, Christopher James McCarthy (Melissa), Tympest Jackson, Robert E. Hammons Jr. (Jaycee) and Dalton Roman; his brother Steven Hammons; and his grandchildren, John, Ayden, Olivia, Xander, Grayson, Scarlett, Milo and Aidean.
