Monna Jo Eglen Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Monna Jo Eglen (Terre Haute, Indiana), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 24, 2025 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lewis "Rex" Poole and Florence Rosalia Poole; her brother William; and her parents-in-law, John Eglen and Helen Eglen.
She is survived by: her husband Jan Eglen; her children, Jeremy Eglen (Karen) of Avon, IN and Jocelyn Eglen of Carmel, IN; her grandchildren, Jonah, Ruth and James Eglen; and her children, Jan, Alfie, Angel, Ollie, Morgan, Tasha, Jordye, Maggie, Rudy, Braxtyn and Venkman. She is also survived by her best girlfriends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Cross Lane Community Church (2204 Lafayette Ave, Terre Haute, IN 47805). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in her name to GRRACE (Golden Retriever Rescue and Community Education) (https://www.grrace.org), the Alzheimer's Association or the Indiana State University Foundation.
