It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Margaret Dammann of Terre Haute, Indiana, who passed away on December 27, 2024, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Leo Grummel and Shirley Cochran Grummel; and her sister Anna Shaw. She is survived by: her husband Edward A. Dammann; her sons, Edward Dammann III (Alicia), Gregory A. Dammann (Holly), Michael W. Dammann (Jennifer) and Bryan J. Dammann (Jessica); her siblings, Leo Grummel (Mary), Thomas Grummel (Kathy), James Grummel (Mary), Joseph Grummel, Marcella Million and Anita Clifford (Dennis); her grandchildren, Miranda Dammann Hayne (Arlington J.), Mackenzie Dammann, Macey Dammann, Allison Dammann, Alexander Dammann, Aiden Dammann and Nick Barushak; and her great grandchild Rowan Heyrend. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, January 3rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Joseph University Parish (113 S 5th St, Terre Haute, IN 47807).
