He was predeceased by: his father Harry E. Nelson. He is survived by: his mother Freida Monroney Nelson; his siblings, Polly Jones (Steve), Bradley Nelson and Roger Nelson (Kristi); his nieces and nephews, Madeline Meehan (Kevin), Ruby Nelson, Kyleigh Nauman, Luke Nelson (Keilah) and Mark Nauman; and his great-nephew Ellis Meehan.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Callahan & Hughes Funeral Home (605 S 25th St, Terre Haute, IN 47803).
