He was predeceased by: his mother Marjorie A. McCandless Newlin. He is survived by: his father John T. Newlin; his wife Kristina Kriston Newlin; his children, Kathryn N. Smith (Jeffrey S. Smith) and John K. Newlin (Carolyn M. Newlin); his grandchildren, Ella Kriston Smith, Stewart Bryan Smith, Grayson Charles Smith, Veronica Kriston Newlin and John Rocco Newlin; his siblings, Thomas C. Newlin (Laurice Newlin) and Sally A. Newlin; and his siblings-in-law, T. C. Newlin, Taleen Newlin, Christopher Newlin, Jenny Newlin, Brian Newlin and Mandi Newlin. He is also survived by great nephews and a great niece, cousins, and several other relatives and dear friends.
