He was predeceased by: his parents, Lucille Mahurin and Harry Mahurin; and his siblings, Wanda Dudley and Larry Salyards. He is survived by: his wife Shelby Mahurin (Strothcamp); his daughters, Kim Cross (Laurence), Debbie Tichenor (Ray) and Paula Thrasher (Chuck); his grandchildren, Corey, Leah Cross, Kelsie, Brad Stafford, Haley, Chris Williams, Bowman, Alicia Thrasher, McKayla Tichenor, Taylor and Adam Prohaska; his great grandchildren, Sadie, Lily, James, Justin, Brianna, Brooklyn, Joshua, Eston, Dawson, Steele, Griff, Raylen and Rosalyn; and his siblings, Judy Harmon, Barbara Glazier and Don Salyards. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 6th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the DeBaun Funeral Homes & Crematory (85 E Springhill Dr, Terre Haute, IN 47802). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 6th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
