He was predeceased by: his parents, Jackie Lee St. John and Barbara Ann Hankins; and his grandmother Opal Fern Hankins. He is survived by: his wife LeeAnn Newlin Hankins; his son Jerry Wayne Hankins, Jr. (Maryann); his grandchildren, Jerry Wayne Hankins, III (Mavery), Austin Michael Hankins (Amber), Amber Sebastian and Brandon David Hankins; and his great grandchildren, Vera and Lincoln. He is also survived by several brothers and sisters, as well as many nieces and nephews.
