Jeremiah Kenneth Strom Obituary
Jeremiah Kenneth Strom, known affectionately as Jay, passed away on June 21, 2024, in Terre Haute, Indiana, at the age of 40. Born on May 27, 1984, in El Paso, Texas, Jay was known for his vibrant personality and enduring spirit.
Jay grew up in various places but attended high school at Sahuaro High School in Tucson, Arizona, Jeremiah had a diverse array of interests that he carried throughout his life, from skateboarding to hockey and music. His love for laughter and entertainment was paralleled by his dedication to his career at Taghleef Industries, Inc., in Terre Haute, where he was not only respected but deeply loved for his commitment and jovial nature.
Anyone lucky enough to know him would describe him as handsome, considerate, smart, and funny, Jay was a pillar of strength and loyalty for his family and friends. He was a fighter and a survivor, having overcome significant challenges in his life, which only fortified his role as a protector and confidant to those he held dear.
Jeremiah was raised by his cousin , Kenny "Pops" Strom and his aunt. He is survived by both as well as his mother, Deborah and his grandmother, Maureen, his brother, Kevin. Jeremiah leaves behind sisters and a large host of friends. Jeremiah is dearly missed by a everyone who he knew in life.Jeremiah also had two kids that live in Arizona. He was preceded in death by his sister, Rory Hawk, and grandfather, Thomas Buford Hawk.
