She was predeceased by: her father Robert "Bob" Gillin; her grandmother Helen Newhart; her siblings, Pat Gillin and Pam Gaskill; her brother-in-law Mike Kates; and her great-nephew Jaxton Cooksey.
She is survived by: her mother Barbara Gilllin (Newhart); her sons, Mike Simonson (Cindy) and Shawn Simonson (Becky); her siblings, Chris Schurick (Tim), Lori Kates, BeeGee Hayden (Jim), Molly Ascheman (Mark), Bo Gillin (Libby) and Jamie Gillin (Dana); her sister-in-law Marsha Gillin; and her caregiver Michael Simonson Jr.. She is also survived by several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews; and a large extended family.
