She was predeceased by: her parents, Maurice Higgins Sr. and Lida Conway Higgins; her husband Adelbert F. Schalburg; her son Leonard Schalburg; her siblings, Bob, Billy, Harry, Maurice Higgins Jr., Helen Altvatar and Virginia Presnell; her niece Yvonne Ash; her nephew Art Presnell Jr.; and her great-niece Ashley Martinez.

She is survived by: her children, Joseph Schalburg (Rolanda "Dee"), Jonathan Schalburg, Anna Colglazier (Larry) and Tina Schalburg; her niece Julie Presnell; her brother Max Higgins (Eleanor); and her daughter-in-law Corliss. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren, and several great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
