George H. Nelson Obituary

He was predeceased by: his parents, George H. Nelson and Marie Halstead Nelson. He is survived by: his wife Margaret "Peggy" Christy Nelson; his children, Christy Cresgy (Joe) and Doug Nelson (Lynn); his grandchildren, Jordan Cresgy Tinlin (Jared) of Yorktown, IN, Kyle Nelson of Minneapolis, MN, Chase Cresgy, Vienna, Kaleb Nelson of Chicago, IL and Kolton Nelson of Lake Zurich, IL; and his sister Beverly Hudelson.
Visitation was held on Sunday, March 16th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Memorial United Methodist Church (2701 Poplar St, Terre Haute, IN 47803). A funeral service was held on Monday, March 17th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, March 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Tippecanoe Memory Gardens (1718 W 350 N, West Lafayette, IN 47906).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Boy Scouts of America or Memorial United Methodist Church.
