It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Everett James Heimes of Terre Haute, Indiana, who passed away on December 2, 2024, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though his name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Everett leaves upon the hearts of his loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of his spirit and the richness of his legacy.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Everett Heimes Sr. and Carrie Lyday; his siblings, Frank, Shirley and Betty; his children, Joyce and David; and his granddaughter Jessica.
He is survived by: his wife Betty (Vester); his children, Carolyn Moore (Robert), Jenny Metcalf (Bill) and Richard Heimes; and his great grandchild Alexis Heimes. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and grandchildren.
