She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Monroe Akers and Lutella McCoy Akers; her siblings, Arthur Leon Akers of Phoenix, Arizona, Margaret Hayes of Martinsville, IN and Janet Jenkins (Pigg); her husband Ellsworth Perdue; and her siblings-in-law, Emory Perdue, Rosemary Burden, Sharon Moore and Jeanette Taylor.
She is survived by: her son Terry A. Perdue; her grandchildren, Jessica Perdue-Decker (Ben), Joshua M. Perdue (Jenepher), Amanda Thoeny (Brandon) and Grant Mansard (Ashley); her great grandchildren, Brodie and Shelby Jean Decker; her grandchildren, Charlotte Thoeny, Madison, Isabelle and Maverick Mansard; and her sisters-in-law, Susie Kunz, Nancy Knauff and Patty Perdue. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, April 28th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the New Life Fellowship (7849 Wabash Ave, Terre Haute, IN 47803). A funeral service will be held on Monday, April 28th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
