He was predeceased by: his parents, Foster Black and Irene Black; and his brothers, Jim and Floyd Black. He is survived by: his wife Mary Jo; his daughter Wendy Suggs (Trent) of Boone, NC; his grandchildren, Evan, Eli and Mattie Suggs; his brother Jerry Black (Suzy); his nephews, Keith (Amanda) and Kevin Black (Jennifer); his sister-in-law Shirley Black; his niece Sherri Lowery; and his nephew Jeff Black.
