She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Karl McKechnie and Helen Schneider McKechnie; and her sister Caroline M. Gilpin. She is survived by: her children, Cory T. Monser (Elizabeth), Stacy A. Whitacre, Blake K. Monser (Tina), Sister Karla M. Oost and Brother Arthur "Tip" McKechnie (Andrea); and her grandchildren, Marisa Garza (Joey), Laurel, Samantha, Carter, Colton and Avery. She is also survived by nephew and many nieces.

In lieu of flowers, donations could be made to the Vigo County or Sullivan County Humane Society.
