He was predeceased by: his parents, Alice Anderson Nickel and Andrew Willard Nickel. He is survived by: his children, Ashley Nickel Thompson and Matt Nickel (Jennifer); his grandchildren, Braxton Thompson, Macy Nickel, Drew Nickel, Mara, Jace, Zada and Kira Russell; and his brother Andy Nickel.
Visitation was held on Monday, October 21st 2024 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the West Side Christian Church (126 N 8th St, West Terre Haute, IN 47885). A celebration of life was held on Monday, October 21st 2024 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
