With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Charles T Rooksberry (Terre Haute, Indiana), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 27, 2025 at the age of 74. He was predeceased by: his father Charles Rooksberry; his brothers, David, James and Kenny Rooksberry; his parents-in-law, Glen and Cordia Auler; and his siblings-in-law, Ronnie Auler, Paul Auler, Bill Auler, Junior Auler, John Jones and Betty Swalls.
He is survived by: his significant other Candy Rooksberry; his daughters, Misty and April; his sons-in-law, Kenneth Joe Zigler and Justun Lawrence (JR); his grandchildren, Jacob Smith, Darrion Froschauer, Damion Froschauer (Felecia), Kenzie Zigler, Kase Lawrence, Haiden, Hadlie and Nash Smith; his son Terry Borden (Gina); his mother Hazel Louise Rooksberry; his siblings, Paul Rooksberry (Debbie) and Marilyn Dickison (Mike); and his siblings-in-law, Larry Auler, Vicki Jones, Sandy Dawson (Duaine), Carol Auler, Mary Otte (David), Lisa Grayless (Harold), Marcia Rooksberry and Nancy Howell. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation was held on Thursday, April 3rd 2025 at 3:00 PM and from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Friday, April 4th 2025 at the Greiner Funeral Home (2005 N 13th St, Terre Haute, IN 47804).
