He was predeceased by: his parents, Allie Turpin Massey and Tom Massey; his siblings, Milton, John, James Massey and Mary Louise Dempsey; and his grandson Alexander Charles Jundt.
He is survived by: his wife Sharon Sutton Massey; his sisters, Frances Hunter and Hazel George (Al); his daughters, Jenice Wirth, Charlene Jundt (Peter Maritz) and Carol Elbert (Troy); his stepsons, Mark Bandy and Greg Bandy; his grandchildren, Katharine Jundt, Maxwell Jundt, Jessica Biehl (Eric), Troy Elbert II, Parker Elbert, Emerson Elbert, Jacob Bandy and Ava Bandy; and his great grandchildren, Elijah and Eleanor Biehl. He is also survived by his three daughters and two stepsons, 8 grandchildren, and 2 great-grandchildren.
