She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Nickerson and Elizabeth McKain Nickerson; her husbands, Charles F. Spears and William C. Haigerty; and her children, Chuck Spears and Debbie Spears.
She is survived by: her daughters, Monica S. Spears of Terre Haute and Peggy A. Kedzie (Dan); her grandchildren, Amanda Dobbs Hopkins (Matt) of Columbus and Christopher L. Dobbs (Veronica) of Columbus; her niece Brenda Allred (Tracy) of Anderson; and her nephew Ronne Fiesbeck of Hope.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, March 5th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Barkes, Weaver & Glick Funeral Homes and Crematory - Washington St (1029 Washington St, Columbus, IN 47201). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, March 5th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In memory of Carolyn, memorial contributions may be made to the Bartholomew County Humane Society.
