She was predeceased by: her parents, Alfred Charles Purchase and Beatrice Knight Watson. She is survived by: her husband John; her children, John (Sabrina), David (Melissa), Daniel (Trina), Jacob (Dina) and Barbara Ninesling (Steve); her grandchildren, Nicole Hackman (Michael), John IV, Dylan, Kaila, Evan, Logan, Chelsea, Devan, Rebecca, Reagan, Aleshia and Keaira; her great grandchildren, Jacob, Hope Hackman and Marek Mruk; her sister Jean Srygley; and her son Steven.

Visitation was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Email (1845 N 6th 1/2 St, Terre Haute, IN 47804). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
