Benjamin B. Wernz Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Benjamin B. Wernz of Terre Haute, Indiana, who passed away on March 3, 2025 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Rudolph Golden Wernz and Jeanette Billman Wernz; his wife Donna Hartman Wernz; and his brother Thomas Wernz. He is survived by: his children, Terry Wernz of Terre Haute, David Wernz (Liz) of Indianapolis, Greg Wernz of Terre Haute, Beth Wernz of Linton and Karla Smith (Kevin) of Terre Haute; his grandchildren, Benjamin L. Wernz of Indianapolis and Alexa Zimmermann Grav (Marcus) of Terre Haute; and his great grandchild Ivar Zimmermann Grav.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, March 16th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Sycamore Country Club (200 Heritage Dr, Terre Haute, IN 47803).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Vigo County Education Foundation.
