We are sad to announce that on October 7, 2024 we had to say goodbye to Alonzo Eugene Lawson Sr. of Terre Haute, Indiana. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
Though Alonzo may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Alonzo touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Leroy Lawson and Zetta Dickerson (Arnold). He is survived by: his children, Alonzo Lawson Jr., Jamal Lawson, Jermaine Lawson, Tamara Thomas, Elaina Lawson and Alonna Lawson; and his sister Lillian Lawson. He is also survived by several grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, October 18th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Samaritan Affordable Funeral and Cremation Services (2425 Wabash Ave, Terre Haute, IN 47807). A funeral service was held on Friday, October 18th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
