He was predeceased by: his wife Letitia Oprisu Gindele (Tootsie); his son-in-law Jeff Mast; his parent-in-law Nick Oprisu; his brothers-in-law, Nick Oprisu, Emil Oprisu and Steve Nyck; and also Anna Oprisu.
He is survived by: his daughter Diane Mast of Terre Haute; his sister Lillian Nyck of Park Ridge; and his sister-in-law Mary Ann Rosner (Paul) of Indianapolis. He is also survived by two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
