She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Cotton and Virginia Cotton (Stevens); her husband Boyd Rust; her close friend Otto Brunner; her children, Blake Rust and Devonna Kay Rust; her grandson Adam Rust; and her siblings, Carl, Donnie, Darrel Cotton, Arlene Miller, Jean Newton and Norma Bledkopf.
She is survived by: her daughter Kyla Erne (David); her brother Terry Cotton; and her grandsons, Beau Benjamin (Anh) of Westfield, IN, Jonathan Benjamin (Mary) of Croton and Justin Rust of Tell City. She is also survived by several great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, April 24th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Zoercher-Gillick Funeral Home (920 10th St, Tell City, IN 47586). A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, April 24th 2025 at the New Hope Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to New Hope Church in Newtonville.
