With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Sudie Nix of Tell City, Indiana, who passed away on April 11, 2025 at the age of 95. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Sudie Nix to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Edgar H. Kyle and Victoria Kyle (Woods); her husband Raymond Nix; her sons, Delbert Ray Nix and David Nix; her siblings, Annie Lee Kyle, Charles, Paul, Joseph, Everett, Lewis, Thomas and Kenneth Kyle; and her children-in-law, Harold Hess, Jr. and Delsie Nix.

She is survived by: her children, Harold Nix (Ruth), Peggy Hess, Donna Hess, Brenda East (Wayne) and Barry Nix (Diane); and her sister Anita Kellems. She is also survived by several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Monday, April 14th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Calendar Huber Funeral Home - Tell City (1139 12th St, Tell City, IN 47586). A funeral service was held on Monday, April 14th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.

Memorial contributions may be made to Chestnut Grove Church of Jesus Christ.

“My husband, Dennis Kyle, Jr. and I want to extend our condolences to the rest of the family. We just found out today and we live out of town so there is no way we will be able to make it in time for the service. We will be with you all in spirit and know that Aunt Sudie is dancing with the angels in heaven. Prayers to all for comfort.”
