He was predeceased by: his parents, Kermit Wittman and Lena Wittman (Coultas); his brother John Wittman; and his brother-in-law Larry Beard. He is survived by: his sister Joyce Beard of Dale, IN; his nieces, Michelle Grimm (Ben) and Brittany Jones (Michael); and his nephew Jacob Beard.

Memorial contributions may be made to the St. John's Lutheran Church.
