Robert Scherzer Obituary
We are sad to announce that on January 29, 2025, at the age of 86, Robert Scherzer (Tell City, Indiana) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Scherzer and Irene Scherzer (Gaesser); his wife Margie; and his siblings, Paul Scherzer and Mary Louise Gogel.
He is survived by: his children, DeeDee Begle (Randy) of Fulda, Dale Scherzer (Stacy) of Haubstadt, Derek Scherzer (Karen) of Lamar and Dana Thompson (Ben) of Mooresville. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren; and 2 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 2nd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM and on Monday, February 3rd 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM. A prayer will be held on Sunday, February 2nd 2025 at 6:00 PM at the Zoercher-Gillick Funeral Home (920 10th St, Tell City, IN 47586). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Marks Catholic Church (5377 Acorn Rd, Tell City, IN 47586).
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Marks Cemetery.
