He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence McGinnis (Brown) and Mary McGinnis (Wallace); his wife Rose Brown; his son Terry Brown; and his siblings, Eddy Brown and Linda Hartmann.
He is survived by: his children, Ray Brown, Jr. of Tell City, Tammy Wagner (Gregg) of Tell City, Kelly Brown of Leopold and Scott Brown (Kristal) of Evansville; and his siblings, Jerry Gibson, Marvin Gibson, Donald Brown and Cecelia Gibson. He is also survived by ten grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren.
