He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Strobel, and Catherine Strobel, Sr. (Eberle); his daughter Lisa Marie Strobel; and his siblings, Frances O'Brian, Dorothy Ferrando, Mary Rose Birchler, Rita Brockman, Henry Strobel, Jr. and Ann Wirthwein.
He is survived by: his wife Ruth Strobel; his daughters, Sue Strobel-Sanders (Dave) of Tell City and Janet Strobel McFarland (Chris Pate) of Tell City; his granddaughter Natalie Sanders; and his sister Carol Dauby (Don) of Tell City.
