Mildred Werne Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Mildred Werne of Tell City, Indiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 2, 2025 at the age of 97. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Adolph C. Lambeck and Martha B. Lambeck (Nuetzel); her husband Linus Michael Werne; her son Ronald Werne; her children-in-law, Elaine Werne and Larry Schnuck; and her sister Dorothy Griepenstroh.
She is survived by: her children, Donald Werne, Betty Schnuck-Kerkhoff (John) and Nancy Fowler (Jim); her daughter-in-law Janice Werne-Hudson; and her grandchildren, Bobby Myler, Shawn Werne, Greg Schnuck, Michael Schnuck, Kristina Epplin, Brian Schnuck, Tracy Hagedorn, Jodi Hufnagel, Jamie Gasser, Jason Keifer and Kyle Keifer. She is also survived by several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Meinrad Cemetery or Trinity Cemetery.
