Madeline Harpenau Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Madeline Harpenau of Tell City, Indiana, who passed away on December 2, 2024 at the age of 97. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Alvin Eaton and Sella Eaton (Wiseman); her former husband Andrew VanConia; her husband Merle Harpenau; and her children, Ronnie VanConia and Rita Harmon.
She is survived by: her son-in-law Mike Harmon of Tell City; her stepdaughter Sharon Schneider (Nick) of Bloomfield; her grandchildren, Darren VanConia (Laurie), Thomas Lawalin Jr., Nicole Byrd (Jeremy) and Stacey Brown (Troy); and her great grandchildren, Remington (Kali), Macie, Kylie, Caleb, Jaeden, Jaclyn, Sydney, Xavier and Nixon.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 5th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, December 6th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Zoercher-Gillick Funeral Home (920 10th St, Tell City, IN 47586). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 6th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
