She was predeceased by: her parents, William Smith and Clara Smith (Throop); her husband Joseph B. Brockman; and her siblings, Earl Smith, Bob Smith and Leoma Arnold (John Smith).
She is survived by: her children, Deanna Alvey of Tell City, Randy Brockman (Lilly) of Evansville and Thomas Brockman (Terri) of Evanston; her sister Mary Catherine Kipzlinger of Evansville; and her grandchildren, Brandi Posey, Kandi Alvey, Michael Houk, Ryan Brockman, Jason Brockman, Jarrod Brockman, Dana Lutgring, Jenny Scheessele, JoAnn Mitchell and Jackie Hunt. She is also survived by eighteen great grandchildren; and 9 great great grandchildren.
