He was predeceased by: his parents, John Strobel and Anna Strobel (Phillips); his wife Sharon Strobel; and his siblings, Esther Lennon, Cleta Dauby, Irene Miller, Marietta Collins and Urban Strobel.
He is survived by: his sons, Jeff Strobel (Crystal) of Evanston and Jon Strobel (Rhonda) of Cannelton; his grandchildren, Cortni Cross (Brandan), Kaitlyn Strobel and Jillian Strobel; and his great grandchildren, Deacon, Cohen and Banks Cross.
