He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar Bolin and Sarah Bolin; his former wife Iva Gene Bolin (Storm); his siblings, Betty Vaeth, Frank Bolin, Norma Jean Smith and Dennis Bruce Bolin; his grandson Kenny Lee Aders; his stepdaughter Debbie Scherer; his stepgrandchildren, Christopher Schwindel and Cantessa Schwindel; and his stepgreat-granddaughter Mackenzie Wink.
He is survived by: his wife Connie Bolin; his daughters, Carla Faulkenburg (Cory) of Cannelton and Priscilla Phillips of Cannelton; his stepchildren, Carlene Tyring (Dan) of Washington, Joanie Walls of Etowah, TN, Karen Beier (Larry) of St. Meinrad, Mike Schwindel of Evanston, Carl Schwindel, Jr. (Dana) of Etowah, TN and Pat Stallman (BJ) of Evanston; and his brothers, Larry Bolin of Evansville and Danny Bolin (Georgeann) of Tell City. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild; 33 step-grandchildren, 36 step-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, October 27th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM and on Monday, October 28th 2024 from 8:30 AM to 10:00 AM at the Zoercher-Gillick Funeral Home (920 10th St, Tell City, IN 47586). A funeral service was held on Monday, October 28th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
