She was predeceased by: her husband David Sutton. She is survived by: her parents, Ralph Luke and Judith "Judy" Luke (Cutter) of Dillsboro; her siblings, Chris Todd Luke (Anne) of Atlanta, Georgia and Jennifer Hildebrand (Scott) of Lawrenceburg; and her nieces and nephews, Allie Hildebrand, Julia Luke, Nicholas, Marcus Luke, Matt and Jonny Hildebrand. She is also survived by her family, friends, and her bank friends.

Memorials may be given in honor of Karen to the St. John's Lutheran Church or the St. John's Lutheran Cemetery Fund.
