He was predeceased by: his parents, John F. Sr. Wade and Mary Wade (Norton); and his siblings, Bryant Wade, Ann Bright and Carol Vidal.
He is survived by: his wife Catherine Gibson of Tell City; his son Steve; his grandchildren, Beverly Wade of Tell City, IN, John Wade (Lisa) of Tell City, IN, Anna Hammack of Tell City, IN, Julia, Lindsey, Jordan, Tori and Jacob; and his great grandchildren, Cody, Sawyer, Liam and Quinn.
