He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman Harpenau and Anna Harpenau (Hagedorn); his wife Ruth Ann Harpenau (Fergason); and his siblings, Rita Mulzer and Paul Harpenau.
He is survived by: his son Craig Harpenau (Sara); his grandchildren, Samantha Hubert (Byron), Sidney Raetz (Billy) and Sloan Voges (Josh); his great grandchildren, Roman, June, Chip Hubert, Cooper, Camden Raetz and Vivian Voges; and his sister-in-law Sandy Cassidy.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 16th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM and on Tuesday, December 17th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM. A Mass was held on Tuesday, December 17th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Calendar St. Isidore Catholic Church (6501 St Isidore Rd, Bristow, IN 47515).
Memorial contributions may be made to Honor Flight of Southern Indiana or Scenic Hills at the Monastery Activity Fund.
