Harold M. Mathena Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Harold M. Mathena of Tell City, Indiana, born in Cannelton, Indiana, who passed away on August 21, 2024, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Solman Mathena and Rosie Mathena (Thompson); his former wife Mary Alice Mathena (McAdams); his wife Shirley Evrard Mathena (Pyle); his son Harold "Hal" Mathena; his stepsons, Fred Evrard and Allen Evrard; and his sister Gladys Gilbert.
He is survived by: his son Dennis Mathena (Amy); his stepdaughters, Carolyn Evrard-Adams (Larry) of Tell City and Martha Lehmkuhler (Bill) of Tell City; his daughter-in-law Gladys Mathena of Giddings, TX; and his niece Joyce Stillwell of Sebree, KY. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
